The Role

For our Scania Key Account OE Sales Team located in Hanover we are currently looking for an experienced


Customer Product Manager SCANIA (m/f)

In this role you ensure and improve customer satisfaction by facilitating and supporting product related projects during the whole product life cycle. You will be interacting strongly with different hierarchical and functional levels within customer and WABCO organization.  


Key Accountabilities

  • Understand Voice Of the Customer and connect with internal stakeholders to turn customer needs into a coherent strategy or action plan
  • Develop customer intimacy resulting in intelligence to define product strategies
  • Anticipate customer needs in new domains (autonomous driving, connectivity and electrification) within your product groups
  • Develop opportunities for business growth within WABCO current portfolio (Whitespot) including RFI/RFQ process (RFI = Request for Information)
  • Create synergies within VW Truck & Bus KA for your product groups
  • Lead new project acquisitions to ensure Strategy Plan (STRAP) outperformance
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts
  • Drive project teams towards flawless project execution and facilitate PPAP and SOP incl. prototype management
  • Support development and change management process
  • Coordination of “technical network” inside SCANIA

Voraussetzungen

Skills & Experience

  • >5 years of work experience within automotive or commercial vehicle industry
  • Degree in Engineering or Business Management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player
  • Develop intimate customer knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge regarding VW business processes
  • WABCO product knowledge
  • Strong project management skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Structured approach (Six Sigma certification is a plus)
  • English is a must, German would be an asset
  • Cultural awareness (Swedish culture) is strongly appreciated


  • Travel Requirements: ~50%
