HEAD OF ENGINEERING DATA & ANALYTICS (M/F/D)

München
SIXT

Our Data & Analytics team is the heart of Data Engineering and Business Intelligence at SIXT. As part of our tech community, a team of highly motivated Data Engineers and BI Experts is developing and operating Data Solutions and platforms for versatile analytical purposes at SIXT. Over the last years our Qlikview Platform grew to a size of 70+ applications which are used by more than 2000 internal and external users daily, and is still growing.. Facing the clear goal to maintain and grow as the leading player in the fast-moving mobility market and due to the immense volume of data the company completely rethinks the way to create and drive business insights without barriers. Kicking off the initiative the team recently started to build a new Data Ecosystem completely from scratch – The SIXT Data Shop. All Analytical workloads at SIXT will move to a cloud based, Big Data Ecosystem. As a single point of truth, it will serve all usecases from classical Reporting over Self-Service Analytics up to Machine Learning Models. Streaming will consistently replace batch processing and allow near-realtime analytics for almost every data pool. After having successfully finished a first technical foundation, now our Data Engineers continuously add new Data sources to our Data Warehouse and Data Lake applications as well as new features to improve the internal and external data usage day by day. To continue our journey the Data & Analytics engineering team is actively searching for a new head at our location at Pullach that has the same passion for its tasks, challenges and visions but above all for data.
